The idea of the transition times that we post are at the most basic level simply a reminder. We like to remember and remind ourselves of where we are on the wheel of the year so that the Sabbats do not sneak up on us.
This New Moon occurring just before Memorial Day makes us want to sit quietly and contemplate the coming summer rush.
